BidTrail is a software tool made by Technoor. It helps you find federal contracting opportunities, understand who has won similar work before, and prepare the documents you need to bid. It is a research and preparation tool. It is not a law firm, an accounting firm, a consultancy, or a government agency, and nothing on this site or in this product is legal, tax, or accounting advice.
Every plan starts with a free trial of 7 days. You choose a plan and give a payment method when you start, and we charge nothing on that day. The trial includes everything in the plan you chose, from the guided setup to live opportunity search.
When the trial ends we charge the price of the plan you chose, unless you cancel first. You can see the amount and the date of that first charge in the app, on the Billing page, at any point during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged.
Starter is $49 per month, Pro is $99 per month or $990 per year, and Scale is $199 per month or $1,990 per year, charged from the day your trial ends. Annual plans are billed once for twelve months, which is two months less than paying monthly. Prices are shown in the product before you pay, and the amount charged is the amount shown on the Stripe checkout page at the time of purchase.
You can cancel at any time from Settings then Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops the next charge, which during a trial means no charge at all. After a charge, your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and then it stops. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. We can change prices, and if we do we will tell you before the change takes effect on your account so you can cancel first.
If your first charge is not right for you, ask within 30 days of that charge and we refund it in full. The window is counted from the date of the first charge, not from the day your trial started, and it applies to monthly and annual plans alike.
After a refund the subscription is cancelled, so you keep access until the refund is processed and then it stops. Anything you generated stays in your account. Ask for a refund from Settings then Billing, or reply to any email we have sent you.
Outside that first-charge window, stated plainly: we do not offer refunds beyond what Stripe's own rules provide. Payments are handled by Stripe, and any refund you receive is one Stripe processes under its own policies for your payment method. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time in a billing period, and cancelling does not refund the period already charged. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will look at it.
BidTrail and Technoor are private companies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the United States government, the General Services Administration, SAM.gov, the Small Business Administration, or any federal agency, and we make no claim to be. Using this product does not register you as a government contractor, does not give you any preference in a procurement, and does not replace any filing or registration you must make yourself.
The opportunity and award information in the product comes from public government sources (SAM.gov and USASpending.gov). We fetch and organize it, and we work to keep it accurate, but the government's own published record is the authority. Always verify a deadline, a requirement, or an award value at the source before you rely on it.
Some parts of BidTrail help you think through whether you might qualify for set-aside programs such as WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, or 8(a). That guidance is informational only. It is not a certification, it is not an eligibility determination, and it does not give you any status. Real status is determined officially by the Small Business Administration or by the certifying agency, through an application you make yourself.
Claiming a certification or a status you do not actually hold on a bid is misrepresentation of eligibility, and it carries exposure under the False Claims Act, including civil penalties and suspension from federal contracting. Please treat any answer the product gives you as a starting point for a real application, not as a substitute for one.
BidTrail can draft outreach emails to prime contractors based on your company profile and a specific award. Those are drafts. BidTrail does not send email to anyone on your behalf, ever. It does not have access to your mailbox and it cannot contact anyone for you. Every message is sent from your own email account, by you, and what it says and who receives it is your responsibility. Review and edit a draft before you send it.
Some features use large language models to summarize, score, and draft. Their output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. It is generated to save you time, not to be relied on without review. You are responsible for checking anything you submit to a government agency, and for the accuracy of any document you file.
You need an account to use BidTrail. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access to it. One subscription covers the seats listed in your plan. Do not share an account outside your company, resell access, or use the product to break the law or to interfere with anyone else's use of it.
Your company profile, saved opportunities, documents, and notes belong to you. We store them so the product works, and we do not sell them. Our Privacy Policy describes what we store, who processes it, and how deletion works.
We work to keep BidTrail running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features can change, and what a plan includes can be adjusted as the product develops. If we make a material change to these terms we will update the date at the top of this page.
BidTrail is operated by Technoor. For anything on this page, or to ask for your data to be deleted, contact us through the address shown on your account or onboarding correspondence.
This page describes how the product actually behaves. It is not legal advice to you, and it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. If you need advice about your own business or about a procurement, consult a professional.
